The multi- and interdisciplinary FEWD Animal Advocacy project at University of Vienna has two main goals: The first is to provide inspiration to people from different academic disciplines as they explore avenues for their own research.
The second is to encourage rational public discourse and dialogue about animal advocacy in civil society. The move to a society that is more humane and focused on species justice depends crucially on both empathy
and rational argumentation.

Animal Society Romania is not a member of the Brussel based Eurogroup  But still it could be for this FEWD Animal Advocacy project a very important partner, especially for the second main goal. To organize together some animal advocacy lectures / workshops at Romanian universities.

Because for more than 25 years they have been fighting for the welfare of animals. And for 17 they were known as Vier Pfoten Romania.

So the FEWD just starts talks with Animal Society Romania on possible aspects for our multi- and interdisciplinary animal advocacy research.
