The Bulgarian Society for Analytic Philosophy

The Mission of the BSAP - We are engaged in creating a scientific community that will share the values and standards of clear rational thinking and will strive for integration in the international community of analytic philosophers. Our primary task is to enhance the quality of philosophical education in Bulgaria. To achieve this, we will work for making available to Bulgarian readers the core texts of classical and contemporary analytic philosophy (both in their original language and in Bulgarian translation); introducing university-level courses in analytic philosophy; organizing local and international lectures, seminars, workshops, conferences, and summer schools; engaging distinguished scholars in all of our activities. We believe, and will work for sharing this belief with others, that the commitment to, as well as the abilities for, rational and critical judgment of reality are the prerequisite for cultivating the most important of civil values.
